Butterscotch Bar Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:

1/4-cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar, pack in cup
1 egg
1 cup sifted flour
1/8-teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1-teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

Melt the butter over hot water, cool, then stir in the sugar. Add egg and beat briskly, then add flavoring. Add remaining ingredients blended together.
