Raisin Ribbon Bar Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:

½ cup margarine, softened
2/3-cup brown sugar
½ cup flour
1-½ cups oats
1 cup chopped walnuts
1-cup raisins
½ cup jam or preserves, any flavor

Instructions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat together margarine and brown sugar. Stir in flour, oats and walnuts. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remaining oat mixture into lightly greased 8-inch square pan. Combine raisins and jam. Spread to within ½ inch of edges. Sprinkle bar cookies with reserved mixture; press lightly.
