Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies

Ingredients For: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies
1 pkg. brownie mix with chocolate syrup
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
16 oz. pouch chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
3 Tbsp. milk
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions For: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 13x9" baking pan. Make brownie mix as directed on package, using oil, 1/4-cup water and 2 eggs. Spread in prepared pan.
Make chocolate chip cookie dough as directed on pouch, using 1/2 cup butter and 1 egg.
Drop dough evenly onto brownie batter; press down lightly to push cookie dough slightly into brownie batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2" from side of the pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely on wire rack. While brownies are cooling, make frosting.
In heavy saucepan, combine 3 Tbsp. butter, corn syrup and 3 Tbsp. milk and heat to boiling; remove from heat. Add chopped chocolate and stir until melted. Using a wire whisk beat in vanilla and enough powdered sugar to reach desired spreading consistency. Frost cooled brownies. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies makes 36 cookies.
