Ingredients:

Layer dry ingredients in a clean one quart jar along with a gift tag and directions.

1-1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
3 (1.4 ounces) coarsely chopped white chocolate candy bars
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Use a 1 quart jar and press each layer down firmly. Layer ingredients in the order given.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Empty all the cookie mix into a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Add 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 egg, and 1-teaspoon vanilla. Mix until completely blended. Shape into 2-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets, about 2" apart. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet and then transfer to wire racks.
