Banana Drop Cookies
Ingredients For: Banana Drop Cookies
1-cup all-purpose flour
1-cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2-teaspoon ground allspice
1-teaspoon salt
3/4-cup vegetable shortening
1-cup sugar
1 large egg
3 large bananas, mashed
1-cup sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions For: Banana Drop Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.
Combine flours, baking powder, allspice and salt. In a large bowl,
cream together shortening and sugar. Beat in egg. Beat in the bananas. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients and sesame seeds.
Drop dough by spoonfuls 1 1/2" apart onto prepared pans. Bake banana drop cookies 8-10 minutes, until lightly colored. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
Banana Drop Cookies makes about 12 cookies.
