Lemon Drop Cookies
Ingredients For: Lemon Drop Cookies
1/2-cup butter, softened
3/4-cup sugar
1 tablespoon half-and-half
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2-cup lemon drops candies, finely crushed
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4-teaspoon salt
Instructions For: Lemon Drop Cookies
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg, cream and lemon peel.
Combine flour, lemon drop candy , baking powder and salt.
Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 3" apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake lemon drop cookies at 350* for 8-10 minutes or edges are lightly browned.
Cool for 2 minutes on sheet before removing to wire rack to cool completely. Lemon Drop Cookies makes about 30 cookies.
