Ingredients For: White Drop Cookies

1 cup shortening
3 cup sugar -- creamed
4 eggs
1 cup milk -- sweet
5 1/4 cup flour
1 t. baking soda -- dissolved in 1/4 c. sour milk
4 ts baking powder
1 t vanilla
1/4 ts nutmeg

Instructions:

Combine ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, bake white drop cookies in moderate 350 F. oven. Makes about 6 Dz. cookies.
