Italian Anise Cookies
Ingredients For: Italian Anise Cookies
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1-3 eggs
1 tsp. each anise and lemon flavoring
Instructions For: Italian Anise Cookies :
Cream the butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients. Add one egg at a time until dough can be formed into a ball.
Form dough into small balls.
Place on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake Italian anise cookies at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Frost when cool with a mixture of confectioner's sugar and milk. Sprinkle with non-pareils
