Peanutbutter Jelly Cookies
Ingredients For: Peanutbutter Jelly Cookies
1/2-cup butter - softened
1/2-cup sugar
1/2-cup peanut butter - smooth or crunchy
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 16 oz can jellied cranberry sauce
Instructions For: Peanutbutter Jelly Cookies
Heat oven to 350F.
Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a medium bowl until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter, vanilla and egg and mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add in. Mix well.
Place cranberry sauce into a small bowl and beat with a whisk until you get a nice smooth consistency.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on un-greased cookie sheet and press thumb into the center of each cookie to make a dent. Spoon a scant teaspoon of cranberry sauce into the indent in each cookie.
Bake peanutbutter & jelly cookies for 15 minutes or until slightly firm to the touch. Peanutbutter & Jelly Cookies makes about 3 dozen.
