Lemon Cheese Pressed Cookie
Ingredients For: Lemon Cheese Pressed Cookie
1-cup butter or margarine, softened
1-cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1-teaspoon baking powder
Instructions For: Lemon Cheese Pressed Cookie
Cream butter, cheese and sugar until fluffy. Blend in remaining ingredients. Cover; chill 1 hour.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Fill cookie press with 1/4 of dough at a time; form desired shapes on un-greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown on edges. This recipe makes 5 Dz. cookies. Variation: pressed cookies: Omit lemon peel and juice; stir in 2 oz. melteed chocolate.
